GLASSGUARD BLACKBAND® UVA LAMPS
A full range of UVA insect lamps are available in all types and wattages to suit your requirement – linear, circular, single ended and U bend.
Our high quality GlassGuard® coating is applied to lamps from the leading brands: Philips, GE, Osram and Sylvania.
UVA discharge lamps with high temperature resistant fluoropolymer coating applied externally to retain glass fragments in the event of accidental breakage.
PRODUCT FEATURES
- Single BlackBand® ring marking on linear lamps in compliance with IEC 61549 (BS EN 61549)
- 96% UVA transmission through coating
- Coating will not discolour with UV radiation
- Coating FDA compliant to 21CRF177.1550 for food contact
- Coating temperature resistant to IEC 60598-1 850ºC glow wire and needle flame test
- Lamp and coating can be recycled
- Direct extrusion lamp coating process certified to ISO 9001:2015 quality management system and major lamp OEM supplier approvals
- Coating service temperature range -70°C to +200°C
- RoHS compliant
