A little about us…
Fotolec Technologies Ltd was established in 1976 by the Payne family and is based in Thetford, Norfolk.
Originally supplying technical safety lighting and controls for the printing and reprographic industries, the company has proudly evolved into a leading manufacturer of specialist shatterproof lamps, coatings, extrusions for industry and in-house manufactured high efficiency LED lighting.
The company has built its reputation on quality, service, value, reliability and innovation which continues to be at the forefront of our business today. Our unique manufacturing plant and dedicated skilled team provide products and solutions for major blue chip companies as well as SME’s, the Ministry of Defence and other Specialist Manufacturers.

Much of today’s lighting equipment imported from the Far East has weak UK representation, limited performance, and questionable warranty and after sales – making the idea of upgrading to a new LED lighting installation a daunting proposition.
